Sylvia Amayo

B2B Program Co-ordinator

Sylvie Amayo is an MBA graduate in Strategic Management from JKUAT as well as an alumni of Pwani Uni with a BSC in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

She’s worked in the financial and banking industry for 9+ years in sales, team management, customer service, problem-solving, and customer and product risk identification and mitigation.

A lover of travel, nature and forests, and a health and fitness enthusiast, it makes her sad to see the destruction of sanctuaries, green spaces and touristic sites.

As such, she’s passionate about engagements geared toward mitigating climate change and hazardous human activities to enhance environmental wellness, human health and sustainable development in a bid to save the planet and achieve a sustainable future to support human, animal and marine life for generations, and still have beautiful places to tour and a conducive weather to support it.

She also believes the best way to achieve this objective is through the youth as the bridge between past and future generations, and custodians of innovation and sustainable change.

Sylvia‘s favorite place in the world is Karura Forest. If not in the forest, you’ll catch her in the nearest nature sanctuary, gym, blogging about fitness and mental health, teaching life skills to kids and the youth, or hunting down great coffee joints.
